DYING HOPES

Oh! The joy of pressing onward
E’en when hopes of youth’s ideal
Of Accomplishments first warmth,
Them, by noisome people killed.

Innocent pernicious people.
Those who tread on others’ toes
(And even breaks some of them off)
Warily render, does not know.

Plants in someone’s heart a grievance
That can never be forgot
They are still good friends, but
To forgive is almost naught.

We have nothing left to solace
Naught to heal our broken hearts,
With ideals annihilated
And our hopes seem rent apart.

Gather all your hopes together
Though it be a tiny spark,
Kindle it with splints of virtue,
Once again, you will take heart.

Everything is for our better
Even though it seems so long
That we often get discouraged
Weak in faith, instead of strong.

Angry, threatening clouds may hover
O’er our kindled hopes so low,
But all clouds have silver linings,
All the storms have rainbows.

(17 years old)

They grabbed him in the park,
and they didn`t tell him why.
He screamed and yelled for help,
but no one heard him cry.

They moved him far away,
then they changed his name.
Life for him was different,
and would never be the same.

His cries would go unanswered,
and a home he will never know.
His real mom and dad were gone,
and there was no love to show.

There is one place that he can go.
where there is help and fun for all.
It`s called Dangeraware.org,
and you can even call.

Memories

I lay down on the grass,
and I look up to the sky.
I think of all the times,
that I would sit and cry.

I think of all the teasing,
and the torture I went through.
and even all grown up now
the memories are like they're new.

Bruises disappear really quickly,
but words they never do.
They stay with you forever,
and then the pain comes through.

I wish that I could forget them,
but the words were so sincere.
It`s like it happened yesterday,
and once again I shed a tear.

THE LONG TRIP ROUND

Going from town to town,
Unknowing where we go.
I was told we were going to Grandma`s house,
But it`s been hours since we`ve been in tow.

My Daddy took me away last night,
A mother I would not see.
Cause Mommy and Daddy fell out of love,
And I don`t know what that means for me.

I know my Mommy is looking for me,
Although Daddy doesn`t want her here.
I cry at because I want her close,
With Daddy there is so much fear.

My Daddy told my Mommy,
Come back to me and be my wife.
I`ll give you back your daughter,
And we could have a good life.

My Mommy could not handle,
What he had to say.
She made a big decision,
And she went another way.

All of this has ended,
Four years down the road.
I finally got my Mommy back,
And my love for her would grow.

IN DREAMS

I`m walking up the mountains,
Going down the hills.
Looking for the forest,
So I can get my thrills.

My thrills are pretty simple,
As “they” all gather around.
“They” are all the animals,
And the people are in town.

I`d rather be with the animals,
They don’t judge me in any way.
The animals don`t hurt me,
They just want to play.

So now the day is over,
And I wake up from my dream.
Life is so unforgiving,
It`s never how it should seem.
